A very good spot for after along day of work. by work i mean skiing. A great spot for kids and adults
I was taken here by a Lyndonville local who I was visiting. She suggested the Pulled Pork sandwich, which I tried and will have the next time I go there. I ended-up having the Black and Blue burger, which was fantastic. I don't know what chef Wil did to blacken the burger, but it was a wonderful offset to the bleu cheese. I also had the Sweet Potato Fries as the side, and they were tasty. The margaritas were also good.
When at Burke Mountain the Tamarack Grill is a great place to go to. It offers a relaxing atmosphere by being above the main lodge and away from the general hustle and bustle. While the menu is not very expansive you will find something you like to energize yourself and get back on the slopes. The bar has an excellent lineup of beers on tap for you to enjoy. Be sure to step outside on the deck for some fresh air and a view of the mountain.
Some may say the pricing is a little high, but in my opinion, the quality is worth it. If you take a date, make sure to ask for a booth, as the dining room is very open. My friend also suggests dining on the balcony (if it's not too cold) as the views of the Lake Willoughby area are grand.
